    Sipadan Permits

    Borneo Divers Mabul Resort is allocated 14 permits a day. Stay 5D/4N and get a guaranteed Sipadan dive permit for diving at Sipadan.

    DIVE CENTER

    The state of the art PADI Dive Centre arranges 3 guided boat dives per day to Sipadan, Mabul, Kapalai and Si Amil. There is also a professional underwater video and filming centre along with a full range of PADI diving courses.

    RESTAURANT & BARS

    The restaurant is located in an open air pavilion and serves delicious buffet style meals. There are 3 lively bars as well.

    SWIMMING POOLS

    The resort features 2 large swimming pool and a jacuzzi along with sports and recreational facilities.

    Recently upgraded and refurnished, the resort features 30+ Executive Semi-detached Deluxe Beach Chalets (Twin beds or King bed). The resort also features luxury villa rooms (Twin beds or King bed). Additional beds available (extra cost).

    Borneo Divers' muck diving housereef is amazing. They have created several reef conservation efforts such as planting seagrass and artificial corals, and they’ve taken on the role as ‘Guardian’ to the incredible surrounding House Reef with it’s fantastic array of marine life such as porcelain crabs, moray eels, sea turtles, colourful nudibranchs, leaf fish, lobsters, bamboo sharks and frog fish to name but a few.

    HOW TO GET TO
    BORNEO DIVERS

    Fly direct to Tawau airport or from Kota Kinabalu, take a 40-minute flight to Tawau. From there, the resort will transfer you to Semporna in about 90 minutes. From Semporna, the resort speed boats will take you to Mabul Island. Plan to arrive at Tawau airport by 11 am at the latest for your resort transport pick up at the airport and to get you to the island on the same day, otherwise you may have to stay overnight in Semporna or Tawau.

    Ground and Boat transfer times from Tawau airport to Semporna are at 8:30 am and 11:00 am. On departing, try to book the 3pm flight or later out of Tawau so that you don’t have to leave a day earlier.
